Founded in 1976 in Sioux City, Iowa, AC&R Specialists is a mechanical contractor specializing in industrial ammonia refrigeration system design and installation, industrial and commercial HVAC/R service, and HVAC/R parts and equipment sales.

AC&R Specialists has provided design/build industrial refrigeration construction services nationwide in 36 states for food production and distribution facilities. With Professional Engineers registered in 39 states, our design team has over 100 years of combined experience in the design and construction of industrial refrigeration systems. We staff our field construction crews with our own experienced pipe welders and fitters, who have had years of specialized experience around industrial refrigeration systems.

Closer to home, AC&R Specialists serves Siouxland and the surrounding region with experienced HVAC & refrigeration service technicians who have the skills to maintain your systems, and who are on call 24/7.
